Milestone? Or fluke? You decide...
So E. and I were laying on the floor today (she was laying, I was sitting, lol) playing with her toys. Well, practicing grabbing them and putting them in our mouths, haha. You should see the concentration on her face. All of her movements become very slow and precise, and then she gets the toy in her mouth and her feet go wild! Either that or she can't tell which hand said toy is in, and sticks the other hand in her mouth...
Anyway I digress.
E. doesn't sleep unless she's sleeping with me or in her swing. Sort of a problem, but not too bad, right? So we're slowly transitioning her into her crib for naps. Last two days have been HORRID. Lots of screaming, etc.
Today, while we were playing, she started making the "sucky face." That is, sticking her tongue out and indicating she wants something to suck on. So I get her the binky and put my hand on my chest. Look away, look back and she's asleep. So I pick her up, grab her blanket, and head to the bedroom. Sway her back to sleep and put her down.
Asleep.
In her crib.
Where she stays for the next hour.
Asleep.
In her crib.
I am totally shocked. So she woke up, played some more, we went for a walk in the stroller, came back and she was almost asleep so I put her in the swing and out she went. Shoulda tried the crib again... but I didn't want to push my luck twice in one day. :o)
